WE ARE BALLINGARRY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CLG

Ballingarry (Thurles) Community Development CLG is a company that has been in existence since 2002. We have an I.T/Training centre, full day care service (Brightsparks Childcare), the company sponsors a Community Employment scheme and we administer the Senior Alert Alarms Scheme. These programmes are part funded by POBAL through a Community Services programme and the Department of Social Protection. In total the company employs 17 staff in our service, 25 people on the Community Employment Scheme and we have 2 TUS workers.

OUR SERVICES

BRIGHTSPARKS

Brightsparks Childcare Services aims to nurture, respect, value, and support each child’s individuality, strengths, rights, and needs which are essential to their well-being, learning and development.

OFFICE SERVICES & TRAINING

We provide a full design, print and copy service. We can help you with all your online motor tax, booking flights online, faxing, scanning and sending documents. We also provide a space for hot desking (a quiet space/work station to enable people to work and access Wi-Fi).

ENTERPRISE SPACE

Are you a start-up company or have a business and need office space, if so please contact us? We are ideally located half an hour from Cashel, Thurles and Kilkenny. You can also avail of the office services.

CE SCHEME

The Community Employment Scheme is a trading entity under the company name. The scheme is for Ballingarry, The Commons, Mullinahone, Drangan and Cloneen.

COMMUNITY ALARMS

The company administers the Senior Alert Alarms scheme, SAS. This is funded through POBAL Please contact your local Public Health Nurse or any Board member for further information on this scheme
